Let the dreams get unleashed...
What does dream mean to a person?
It means life to few. It is through which many wishes to spend one’s prime life. Can such passions be imposed on oneself? Neil succumbed to such imposition. He got himself trapped between performing duties as a son and following his dreams against his parents. He struggled to relief himself from this emotional tangle.
What if the world let such people survive? Impediments must make one stronger and more passionate towards one’s goal rather than stopping them from what one loves.
Society must respect the individual and not expect one to fulfill their expectations. There is no yardstick to measure the quality of one’s passion. It is the person’s determination and love for it that matters. Is it wrong on the part of parents to aspire and decide the child’s future? If yes, then, what must be their role in a child’s life? They must provide opportunities and resources in helping them find their dreams and support them in the process of attaining it.
People who dropped their dreams for making others happy, lose their happiness in the process. Eventually, happiness matters the most not the material wealth.
“I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life; and not, when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived.”
Let every child dream. Let every child live his own life. Even if it turns out to be a failure, they will have the satisfaction of working towards it.
